Teaching Associate Damjan Stanković from the Department of Numerical Mathematics and Optimization visited the “Rade Končar” Electrical Engineering School on 24 April 2026, where he held a workshop on applied mathematics.
The workshop covered the topic of discretization, through which students had the opportunity to learn how continuous problems are converted into a form suitable for computer processing, as well as about its applications in modern technologies.
The workshop was held as part of the event “Getting Together with Science and Technology”, which aims to bring science closer to young people and encourage their interest in further education in this field.
We thank our colleague Damjan Stanković for his time and inspiring lecture, as well as the “Rade Končar” Electrical Engineering School for its hospitality and successful cooperation.
