Prof. dr Sandra \u017divanovi\u0107<\/a>, a member of the Department of Numerical Mathematics and Optimization, gave a lecture entitled \u201cModelling Reality\u201d at the Mathematical Grammar School. In an inspiring talk, she introduced students to the applications of mathematics in various fields, as well as different approaches to solving the same problem, from the perspective of mathematicians and experts from other disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, students had the opportunity to learn about current areas of mathematics, as well as the work of our Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We thank Professor \u017divanovi\u0107 for the successful lecture and her contribution to promoting mathematics among young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
